Our Master Series Competition is to be comprised of professional teams that are required to cook chicken, pork ribs, pork shoulder, and beef brisket to win the Grand Championship. Two voluntary categories, seafood and dessert, have been added. KCBS Rules and regulations apply.

Our Stand Alone Backyard Contest is to be comprised of non-professional teams that are required to cook chicken and pork ribs to win the Grand Championship. The cooking source at a Stand Alone Backyard Contest shall be of wood, wood pellets or charcoal.
Age Group 5-10yrs Ground Beef
Age Group 11-15yrs Skin-on, Bone-in Chicken Thigh
· Each entry includes the following:
o Prep station (table, cutting board, kid-safe knife,)
o Official Mesa Kids Cooking School Apron
o Grill and Charcoal
o Presentation containers and paper products
o Protein (either chicken or ground beef)
o NABBB FEST admission for contestant and one guardian (Saturday, 9/28)
· Contestant provided the following:
o All seasonings, sauces, special ingredients
§ i.e. buns (if using)
§ Side or accompaniment (not required)
§ Utensils (basting brush, spatula, tongs, etc)
